On time

Time goes from the future,
which is our idea
about the direction of the evolving present,

to the evolving present
which contains within it
all of the past..

The past is ever present in memory

The future is ever present in latent possibilities
The present is ever present
in
the presence of the present.
There is no time but NOW.
No moment but THIS.

With that being said- it would appear that past and future are illusions of mental abstraction and that all that exists is the present moment..

This, however, is not the whole truth as the truth cannot be spoken in linear sequential language. The misapprehension arises from a duality inherent in language..

To speak about something is to delineate it from other things. It is to draw a line between different forms to differentiate.. It is to draw the figure out against a ground..

Thus- To speak about the present moment

once you have realized the
futility of grasping

to ideas of the past and future

is to continue in the same trap
because "the present" or the "now" is only meaningful
in relation to the past and the future-
To what is not "now"
of which there is absolutely nothing.
